Last week I had the great pleasure of meeting with the indigenous directors from Sudan and South Sudan to make plans and dream dreams for an exciting future for LUV. These three men come from different tribes in nations where tribalism is both killer and king.  Yet, they eagerly break down barriers to help one another, to stand in the gap for the most vulnerable in their nations, and thus point to the larger Tribe that we are all united in and the Kingdom that is come – here, now, and in our midst.

As we met, we shared stories of the very good that is manifesting in and through the anti-trafficking network. We prayed for you, for the work ahead of us, and for the vulnerable children and women under our collective global embrace. There is so much beauty and so many opportunities to participate in lives saved, hearts restored, and love advanced.

Last week, James Lual Atak personally thanked you for your part in transforming the nation of South Sudan.

Today, meet and hear from Ezekiel Ayub, our indigenous director of Our Father’s Cleft in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan as he shares about the powerful impact love makes in the warzones of Nuba and he invites you to join with him in protecting the most vulnerable in our world today through LUV.

Ezekiel has a passion for providing quality high school education and also foundations for education through a strong preschool.  Currently his students in these age groups are learning under the trees.  Our Father’s Cleft 2019 project goal is to provide safe shelter for all their students by building two final classroom blocks (a total of 6 new classrooms).  These new buildings will complete their high school with two more classrooms for the upcoming junior and senior classes plus a science laboratory and add three more classrooms for preschool.  To help Ezekiel finish the OFC school and build all six classrooms we are estimating the cost at $130,000.

Your general fund donations are essential and help us mobilize funds “where needed most.”  However, we also have upcoming project needs that you can invest in and therefore invest in the future of the nation of Sudan.

This holiday season, Double Your Love. Click on the link below to securely make your gift or send a check to our PO BOX and know your impact through Lift Up the Vulnerable is doubled because a committed family partner to the mission has been moved to issue a $100,000 challenge grant!

With much appreciation,

Audrey Moore
