“If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight” (Isaiah 58:10).

I’m honored to know more than a few people whose lives glow with love and they inspire and encourage me… people like LUV’s generous partners around the globe who join me in lifting up the most vulnerable. We simply couldn’t do this work with out you and them!

And like Eugenio, Jane, Peter, Ezekiel, James and many others in Sudan, South Sudan, and Kenya who have joyfully laid down their lives to set the captives free.

For just around the corner from our invitation to give and glow, Isaiah both weaves together and announces the message of our Savior’s—and now our—mission song, “The Spirit of God, the Master, is on me because God anointed me. He sent me to preach good news to the poor, heal the heartbroken, announce freedom to all captives, pardon all prisoners” (Isaiah 61:1).

When you participate in the mission of LUV, you join the movement of God’s deep compassion for the orphan, the widow, and the hungry. For the refugee on the run from war. For those suffering in extreme poverty. For the heartbroken, the prisoner, and the trafficked.

To follow at the link below are a few simple ways to participate in the mission of glowing and growing Love through LUV this season and lift up the most vulnerable to human trafficking in warzones:

This Christmas may you and I and those we seek to lift together be warmed by Love’s glow as we deepen our participation in growing Love for all.

For they will know us by our Love,
