In Sudan and South Sudan, families face unimaginable hardships — extreme poverty, limited infrastructure, and the ongoing conflict from war. Many children are orphaned and at high risk of human trafficking. No one should ever experience such exploitation.
That’s why we’re committed to preventing the trafficking and oppression of vulnerable children and women in warzones — tackling the root causes through protection, education, and economic development.
Every day, our indigenously directed anti-trafficking network is creating lasting transformation from the ground up. Led by courageous local leaders, these programs are rewriting stories and restoring futures. In 2024 alone, thousands of lives have been transformed.
Our programs protected and equipped more than 2,082 children, women, and men. These empowered changemakers went on to support an additional 5,877 people from their communities!
Those once at risk of being kidnapped as child soldiers, trapped in forced labor, coerced to be child brides, or sold into sex slavery are now rising as leaders. They are experiencing Christ’s healing love, gaining education, and becoming agents of peace in the harshest corners of the world.
