We hope you are enjoying the start of Autumn and the new school year! We’ve got three quick updates to share with you from our anti-trafficking network.

You’re Making an Impact

For 20 years, LUV has been called to warzones — where children and women are most vulnerable to trafficking and oppression, and where few others dare to go because it is too dangerous, remote, or costly.

Our approach is rooted in partnership with indigenous directors and their local staff. These leaders bring the cultural wisdom, vision, and expertise to design holistic solutions for their communities. Together, we develop sustainable strategies that protect and empower the vulnerable — providing housing, education, economic opportunity, and hope in places often overlooked.

1. So far this year

129 children vulnerable to exploitation have been rescued. LUV’s network is now providing protection through safe housing for 736 children, education for 1,446 students, and economic development for 568 local leaders.

2. Medical Clinic

Hosted a free medical clinic that served 762 community members in only 5 days.  At the same time, trained 20 local pastors and lay leaders through two of three planned ecumenical pastors’ courses — who then ministered during the free clinic and welcomed 138 new believers into their faith journey in Christ.
