As stewards of the love you extend, we at Lift Up the Vulnerable take financial integrity seriously and appreciate the faith in us that your giving represents.
Therefore, we are pleased to announce our recent accreditation by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA). Founded in 1979, ECFA is comprised of over 2,500 evangelical Christian organizations, which qualify for tax-exempt, nonprofit status and receive tax-deductible contributions to support their work. ECFA’s steadfast purpose is to articulate, maintain, manifest, and enforce a code of financial accountability, ethics, and reporting which is consistent with enlightened and responsible Christian faith and practice.
For several years, LUV has maintained the top-tiered “Platinum Seal of Transparency” ranking from GuideStar, a leader in non-profit financial disclosure. We also always place our IRS 990 form and annual impact reports on our website. However, we chose to go through an additional rigorous vetting process to gain ECFA Accreditation because maintaining the highest possible level of financial openness and transparency has been and will remain our organizational commitment to you.
You, our partners, have entrusted us at LUV to be wise financial stewards of donations so that we, together, can work to prevent human trafficking and empower vulnerable children and women in warzones. We know that your generous giving is a sacred, loving action; replicating the Divine Generosity that God pours into the world each and every day.
Thank you for the opportunity to join together with you as partners working to provide lifechanging, transformational empowerment and hope to children and women in war-torn nations. We invite you to join us in expanding this generous LUV to lift up even more of the most vulnerable in the years to come.
