This year has been tumultuous for people worldwide, but for the children and women of Sudan and South Sudan, crisis has been the norm for decades. A coup has erupted in Sudan in just the past few weeks, dissolving the power-sharing government. Yet, LUV has helped the most remote communities in the region endure and overcome many hardships. As a result, children like Hadassah* have had the chance to become real-life heroes.

Hadassah was rescued from human trafficking at just two months old.

At four months old, she was diagnosed with a heart ailment and needed an emergency operation. She has since spent her precious childhood in the care of Lift Up the Vulnerable, being protected and cherished.

At LUV, protecting the most vulnerable means providing safe housing, medical care, nutrition, and education for children and women living in warzones who have little to no other options. We have a God-given passion for restoring war-torn communities, and we understand that when empowered, children become heroes in their own lives and communities.

Hadassah’s short life has been tenuous, but thanks to your encouragement and generous support, she is one of the most gifted students in her first-grade class and loves to read (and rollerskate!).

This holiday season, will you increase your gift to help LUV protect more children like Hadassah? If you donate before the end of the year, your gift will be generously matched dollar-for-dollar up to $150,000!

Your gift provides care to the sick and hope to the desolate.

Please join us in helping our kid heroes soar this Christmas!
