Happy Month of LUV!
Over the past 18 years, I’ve had the opportunity to witness the power of God’s transforming love in warzones and what happens when each person does their part to protect vulnerable children and women. Read a few of the inspiring stories on liftupthevulnerable.org right now and you’ll see what I mean.
But as someone who believes, as we do, that ending human trafficking is critical, your role in doing small things with great love just might be the most essential. Because our work — and all of the incredible changes that protection, education, and economic development provide — can’t happen without you.
In honor of the upcoming International Day of LUV (aka Valentine’s Day), we have made it our tradition to celebrate an entire Month of LUV. This celebration is rooted in our desire for the world to know that compassionate love, at its core, is about caring for those in need — especially the world’s most vulnerable orphans and widows in their distress.

Donate in a loved one’s honor, and we’ll e-mail them a Valentine that shares about the impact your generosity makes for vulnerable children and women in warzones.
#2 – Attend our LUV Transforms Virtual Party | Thursday, February 16 at 8pm EST via Zoom:
Join us in celebrating the transforming power of LUV in warzones. You’ll hear firsthand stories and poems from students you have helped protect from exploitation and who are being transformed by the power of Christ’s love. Invite your friends to learn more and celebrate with you! RSVP now to receive a pre-party surprise!
#3 – Host a LUV Transforms Friend-raiser:
Invite your friends, family, bible study, book club, or colleagues to share in the LUV — and help prevent human trafficking!
You can host anywhere you like and any time of the year that works best, we’ll supply a tool kit full of ideas to help you make a difference and have a blast! Our kit includes party ideas, a recipe for a Sudanese inspired “LUV potion” drink, impact stories, and videos to make the event memorable. Sign-up to receive a host tool kit.
