Re-rescue of Aluet: Protecting Girls from Forced Marriage
Aluet lost her mother at just four years old and grew up facing the harsh realities of poverty and instability in South Sudan. After finding safety and opportunity through Lift Up the Vulnerable, her future looked bright—until a deception by relatives nearly forced her into marriage. This powerful story shows how timely intervention, education, and community advocacy can protect girls from exploitation and give them the chance to finish school and shape their own future.
