Stories of hope

Hope through You

Hope through You

In places overshadowed by war, hunger, and exploitation, hope can feel distant — yet we see it break through every day. Through Lift Up the Vulnerable’s indigenous-led network, children like Lucia, Lucas, and Ruth have found safety, education, and a path toward a thriving future. With over 4,083 students reached and 56 alumni launched into college, your partnership continues to transform lives and spark new stories of hope.

Restoring Deng’s Heart

Restoring Deng’s Heart

In the heart of South Sudan, where access to medical care is scarce, one young boy’s life was transformed through Lift Up the Vulnerable’s network. When twelve-year-old Deng was diagnosed with a terminal heart condition during a rural clinic, his future looked uncertain. But through God’s provision, compassionate donors, and extraordinary coordination, Deng received life-saving surgery in Kenya. Today, he is thriving—proof that hope and healing can reach even the most vulnerable.

From Desperation to Healing

From Desperation to Healing

At a rural medical clinic in South Sudan, a desperate father carried his only child to Lift Up the Vulnerable’s team, pleading for help. His two-year-old daughter, Agor, was born with a rare and life-threatening condition that could only be corrected by surgery far beyond their reach. With tears, prayers, and the support of compassionate donors, hope broke through despair — opening the door for Agor to receive the life-saving treatment she needs.
